DSL Economy Packages:

1-Mbps Economy Package: 1-Mbps with 10-GB Data Limit for Rs. 499 per month (after 10-GB Rs. 100 Per GB will be charged). Total DSL charges will be capped at Rs. 1,500 which means that after 20 GBs the Package will become unlimited.

2-Mbps Economy Package: 2-Mbps with 10-GB Data Limit for Rs. 750 per month (after 10-GB Rs. 100 Per GB will be charged). Total DSL charges will be capped at Rs. 1,750 which means that after 20 GBs the Package will become unlimited.

PTCL Re-Launches 3G EVO Packages [Monthly Data Limit Reduced]

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, PTCL re-launches postpaid and prepaid packages for its 3G EVO, Wingle and Nitro Cloud customers.

PTCL has reduced the monthly data limit from 75-GB per month to 50-GB per month for Wingle Unlimited Package and also increased its price from 2,500 per month to 3,200 per month.

PTCL has reduced the monthly data limit and also increase the package prices for all packages.

PTCL put the following explanation on its website regarding this Monthly Data Limit Reduction:

To better serve customers, all new and old EVO connections will carry a fair usage policy of 30GB and 20GB. The new packages are applicable on both Rev.A and Rev.B EVO devices including EVO Wingle, EVO 9.3, EVO 3.1, EVO Tab and EVO cloud devices and will be implemented from June 1, 2014.

Extra usage will be charged at Rs. 150 per GB for both EVO Postpaid and Prepaid customers. Speed throttling will no longer apply on post-paid packages.

Throughput for the first 20MB will be 1-Mbps and then it will be throttled to 512 Kbps for the rest of the day.

How to Un-Subscribe 3G Packages ?

Daily bucket is on auto-renewal, SMS UNSUB to 8804 to unsubscribe.

Half day bucket is on auto-renewal, SMS UNSUB to 7810 to unsubscribe.

What if your are out of 3G coverage area ?

Subscriber who are not in 3G coverage area would only be able to subscribe to 256 kbps, and will get the lower speed of EDGE or GPRS.
